Nominations for the 2025 Annual Almond Insurance Industry Awards have officially opened. The announcement was made today, Friday, during a press conference held in Lagos
Speaking during the conference, the Chairman, Panel of Judges, 2025 Almond Insurance Industry Awards, Ms. Prisca Soares, said, the 2025 edition, tagged #Recharged, will take place on Friday, November 7th, at The Stable Event Place, 45 Bode Thomas Street, Surulere, Lagos.
It will bring together policymakers, insurance professionals, entertainers, and the insuring public (Corporate & Individual) to celebrate the Innovators and Change Makers in the industry, she said.
Soares said, “The purpose of the Awards remains unchanged – recognizing and rewarding the outstanding efforts of the men and women across the different arms of the
industry who work tirelessly to promote and sell insurance, often in challenging
circumstances.
” As you are all aware, the categories were streamlined last year to
meet with International Standards of similar Awards in other Jurisdiction. Some
categories were dropped and new ones were introduced to engender inclusivity
across the entire spectrum. The 2025 edition will continue and reinforce these
standards.”
Nominations officially open today, May 30th, and will run for four weeks (ends
June 30th).
The 2025 edition retains the streamlined structure to enhance inclusivity and reflect the
evolving dynamics of the Nigerian insurance sector.
