NPF to recruit another 10,000 constables

In a significant move, the Nigeria Police Force has on Thursday, passed out 10,000 constables to enhance public safety and is set to recruit an additional 10,000 officers.

This was made known on Saturday, by the Force Spokesman, Olumiyiwa Adejobi.

The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening law enforcement amid rising demands for police presence in communities.

On X (formally Twitter) Adejobi while accompanying the video of the officers who recently passed out with a caption, he wrote, “Police pass out 10,000 constables, set to commence recruitment of additional 10,000.”

Dailyeconomy reported that the Nigeria Police Force has graduated 10,000 recruited constables from various training institutions across the country.

The passing-out parade which was held on Thursday, January 23, at the four Police Colleges and 12 Training Schools, was presided over by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, who served as the reviewing officer.
