Ogun govt begins construction of Akute-Ajuwon road

The Ogun State Government has declared openly the construction of the Akute-Ajuwon Road in Ifo Constituency II, geared toward improving infrastructure in the area.

This was revealed in a video shared by the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on his official X (formally Twitter) handle Friday.

Abiodun captioned the video, “In keeping with our commitment made during the on-the-spot assessment of the deplorable roads in Ifo Constituency II, we are pleased to announce that the construction of the Akute-Ajuwon Road is now underway.

“This project is a significant step towards improving infrastructure in the area, addressing long-standing issues faced by residents, and enhancing connectivity within the community. We remain dedicated to delivering quality road networks that will not only ease transportation but also contribute to the economic growth and overall development of the constituency.

“Your continued support and patience as we work on these crucial improvements are greatly appreciated.”

Dailyeconomy on August 23, reported that the Ogun State Government is set to begin the reconstruction of the Lagos-Ota-Abeokuta expressway.
