Ooni of Ife commends Agbeyewa Farms and Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort as catalysts for economic growth

Ekiti State – The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has lauded the management of Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort and Agbeyewa Farms for their remarkable contributions to the economic transformation of Ekiti State.
During a two-day visit to these establishments, the Ooni celebrated the strides made by the management of Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference centre in establishing a world-class hospitality destination. Describing the resort as unparalleled on a global scale, the monarch commended its exceptional amenities, including the newly constructed presidential villa, picturesque landscapes, lush greenery, and meticulously maintained gardens.
The visit also took the Ooni to Agbeyewa Farms, where he expressed admiration for the expansive cassava farms spread across Ipao, Gede, and Iyemero communities. At the proposed site for the Agbeyewa processing plants in Itapaji, the revered monarch offered prayers and blessings, emphasizing the project’s potential to boost agricultural value chains and enhance rural prosperity.
Oba Ogunwusi specifically acknowledged the visionary leadership of Mr. John Olajide, Chairman of Cavista Holdings Limited, and his brother(and Chief Financial Officer, Cavista Holdings) Niran Olajide.
He commended their significant investments in agriculture and hospitality, which are creating job opportunities for the youth and fostering economic growth in rural areas. The Ooni also extended his gratitude to the Ekiti State Government for its collaboration in advancing agricultural innovation, particularly in cassava cultivation.
