Open defecation: Lagos arrests 17 offenders

The operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps have arrested 17 offenders for open urination, open defecation, and not using the pedestrian bridge in the Berger area of the State.

This was disclosed in a post by the Lagos Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Friday.

He wrote, “17 individuals were arrested last night at Berger for open urination, defecation and not using the pedestrian bridge.”

However, on Saturday, August 24, the Lagos State taskforce apprehended six individuals for openly urinating in front of the Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi, as reported by Dailyeconomy.
