The Napoly and Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, is contemplating a move to the Saudi Pro League as negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain stall over transfer fees.
The Nigerian striker’s potential transfer to PSG has faced complications, prompting him to consider offers from Saudi clubs.
Despite a contract extension with Napoli until 2026, Osimhen remains determined to leave this summer, especially as PSG struggles to meet his £113m release clause.
Confirming the situation, football analyst, Fabrizio Romano stated that Osimhen’s priority remains to leave Napoli this summer.
He wrote, “Victor Osimhen’s priority remains to leave Napoli this summer.
“Paris Saint-Germain won’t pay the clause and talks are on stand-by at current conditions, no chance to include Kang-in Lee.
“Osimhen could also consider Saudi League bids, as Napoli wants Lukaku to replace him.”
Dailyeconomy on July 14, 2024, reported that Napoli’s head coach, Antonio Conte said that Osimhen confirmed to him that there are no changes in his status.
