The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has received the Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), His Excellency Wamkele Mene, and his delegation in Ibadan.
The high-level visit also included Azerbaijani investor Tahir Gozel, who accompanied the AfCFTA team.

“HE Mene was on a working visit to Oyo State in support of our plan as the first subnational in Africa to develop an AfCFTA implementation strategy.”
