Oyo gov hosts Chinese businessmen delegation, discusses investment opportunities

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has welcomed a delegation of Chinese businessmen led by the Consul General of Nigeria in Shanghai, China, Gbadebo Afolabi.

Makinde in a post shared on his official X (formally Twitter) handle, noted that their discussions centred around the investment opportunities in Oyo State, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and mining.

He wrote, “Earlier today, we received a delegation of Chinese businessmen led by His Excellency Ambassador Gbadebo Afolabi, Consul General of Nigeria in Shanghai, China. Our discussions centred on the investment opportunities in Oyo State and their areas of interest; infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and mining.

“In my remarks, I welcomed them to Oyo State and assured them that our administration is ready to provide the support they need to invest successfully in our dear State.”
