Paulo Okoye names Burna Boy Nigeria’s richest artist, criticizes Rema’s industry pricing

Music executive Paulo Okoye has claimed that Nigerian Grammy-winning artist, Damini Ogulu well known as Burna Boy is Nigeria’s richest musician.

In a recent podcast with Daddy Freeze, Okoye claimed Burna Boy earned between $70 million and $80 million in 2023 alone. Okoye emphasised Burna Boy’s modest lifestyle and small support team, which includes his mother and sister.

He also criticized rising star Rema for allegedly overpricing himself in the industry.
