Peter Obi calls for channeling ‘yahoo boys’ skills into national growth

During the opening of the Peter Obi Centre in Anambra State, former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi characterised some internet fraudsters, commonly known as “Yahoo Boys,” as inventive and daring.
He linked their engagement in cybercrime to deeper issues like youth unemployment and limited opportunities, urging that their talents be redirected toward innovation and productive endeavors instead of condemnation.
