Police announce date for constable recruitment screening

The Lagos State Police Command has announced the start of physical and credential screening for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Police Force (NPF) recruitment of general duty and specialist constables, targeting state indigenes who completed online registration.
In a statement Thursday, SP Abimbola Adebisi, Police Public Relations Officer for the command, said the exercise runs from Monday, March 9, to Saturday, April 18, 2026, daily from 7:00 a.m. at the Police College, Ikeja.
“All applicants are required to appear in a clean white T-shirt and white shorts, and must present the following mandatory documents neatly arranged in two white flat files,” the statement detailed, listing items including invitation slips, NIN printouts, O’Level certificates, birth certificates, LGA certificates, trade tests for specialists, and guarantors’ forms.
It warned, “Any candidate who fails to present the above-listed items will not be considered for screening. Applicants are strongly advised to strictly adhere to their scheduled dates and other guidelines provided.”
The command stressed the process is free and merit-based: “The screening process is absolutely free and conducted strictly on merit, in line with the highest standards of professionalism and transparency.
