Police arrest man for vandalising Lagos govt wire mesh

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command on Thursday, September 19, arrested a suspect with vandalised wire mesh used by the Lagos State Government in hedging the road.

This was revealed in a post via the Squad’s X (formally Twitter) account on Friday.

The suspect identified as Sunday Adedeji, 35, was arrested while the Squad was patrolling Ile–Epo, Oke–Odo late night of Thursday, September 19, 2024.

The post reads, “Around 11:00 p.m. yesterday, operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) patrolling Ile – Epo, Oke – Odo arrested Sunday Adedeji, 35 years old with vandalized wire mesh used by Lagos State Government in hedging the road around the area.”
