The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested a school security guard in connection with the brutal murder and kidnapping of a caregiver and a toddler.

David Moses, a security guard at Clear Hope Foundation Academy in Dawaki, was arrested for the killing of 55-year-old Chinyere Anaene, a caregiver at the school, and Nanenter Asher Yese, a one-year, two-month-old toddler.

A statement by the FCT Police Spokesman, Josephine Adeh, stated that Moses confessed to conspiring with his friend, Sunday Irimiya, who is still at large.

The two allegedly lured the victims before killing them and dumping their bodies in a canal.

Shockingly, even after the murders, the suspects continued to demand a ransom from the victims’ families.

Moses was arrested after fleeing an internal dispute and subsequently led police operatives to the canal where the bodies were recovered.

The statement reads, “The FCT Police Command has arrested David Moses, a school security guard, for the kidnapping and brutal murder of Mrs. Chinyere Anaene (55), a caregiver at Clear Hope Foundation Academy, Dawaki, and a toddler, Nanenter Asher Yese (1yr, 2mths).
