The Police Service Commission (PSC) has launched the recruitment portal for 50,000 Police Constables, following President Bola Tinubu’s directive to expand the Nigeria Police Force.
The PSC emphasised that the process “is a pivotal step toward strengthening internal security and fostering a more responsive police service.”
Applications open on Monday, December 15, 2025, and will remain open until Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Interested Nigerians can apply online for free at npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, with no fees charged at any stage.
The PSC sternly warned applicants: “This process is 100% free at every stage—any solicitation for money is a scam.”
The recruitment covers two categories: General Duty and Specialists.
General Duty applicants must have at least five credits in relevant exams, be aged 18–25, and meet height and fitness standards. Specialists—including drivers, mechanics, and medical aides—require a minimum of four credits, relevant experience, and are eligible up to age 28.
The PSC declared that selections would be “strictly merit-based, with no room for influence peddling.”
Applicants must register on the portal, provide educational and personal documents, and print an acknowledgment slip after submission.
The PSC promises a seamless and transparent selection, with all shortlists published on the official website.
