The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has described the rumoured planned attack on the University of Abuja Campus as false and misleading.
The FCT Police in a statement on Saturday by its Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh said the information is baselessly propagated by rumour mongers intending to create anxiety among the residents and the University community.

“The Command hereby reiterates its commitment to securing and safeguarding the lives and property of residents in the FCT as adequate deployment of personnel and equipment have been implemented to enhance the security situation within the FCT, which includes the University of Abuja.”
