The Nigerian Police Force has celebrated the outstanding participation of its female officers at the 62nd Annual Training Conference of the International Association of Women Police.
The event, held internationally, brings together women in law enforcement to share knowledge and advance policing practices.
The NPF shows the officers’ engagement in sessions focused on emerging technologies, ethical policing, and building community trust.
The NPF in a statement shared on Thursday expressed optimism about the future, stating that the officers’ contributions at the conference are a stepping stone toward further advancements in policing across Nigeria.
Their presence at the IAWP conference not only elevates the profile of Nigerian female officers but also reinforces the force’s vision for a progressive and inclusive approach to law enforcement.
The statement reads, “We are exceptionally proud of our female officers at the ongoing International Association of Women Police (IAWP) 62nd Annual Training Conference.
“By focusing on emerging technologies, ethical policing and community trust building, they are a testament to the NPF’s commitment to a modern, intelligence-led and people-centric Police Force. The best is yet to come.”
