Police hand over 17 kidnap victims to Niger govt

The Niger Police Command has handed over 17 kidnapped victims rescued in Kaduna State to the Niger State government.

The rescued victims received by Deputy Governor Yakubu Garba with other state officials were abducted on March 3, 2025 at Loto Village, via Kuchi Sarkin-Pawa, Niger State.

The handing over of the rescued victims was contained in images on the official X (formally Twitter) account of the Nigeria Police Force.

It reads, “Niger State Government receives the seventeen (17) kidnapped victims rescued in Kaduna State, who were abducted on 3rd March, 2025 at Loto Village, via Kuchi Sarkin-Pawa, Niger State.

“The rescued victims were received by the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Com. Yakubu Garba with other State Government functionaries at the State Police Headquarters, Dutsen-Kura Minna today 11th April, 2025.”
