Police nab suspected robbers in Lagos‬

‪The operatives of Lagos State Police Command had apprehended two suspected robbers at the Anthony Bridge area of Lagos State. ‬

‪The arrest according to a post shared on the state command X (formally Twitter) handle on Tuesday was made by the officers of the Ilupeju Police Division while the suspects were attempting to rob a driver whose vehicle had broken down under the Anthony Bridge. ‬

‪“Officers of Ilupeju division, while on patrol within the area, arrested the duo of Wasiu Olarenwaju ‘m’ aged 39 and Adeolu Adeyemo ‘m’ aged 30, while they were attempting to rob a driver whose vehicle had broken down at Anthony Bridge, Ilupeju. The investigation is ongoing,” the post reads.

However, on June 30, Dailyeconomy reported that the Lagos patrol team from the Ilemba Hausa Division apprehended two armed robbers and recovered a firearm in the Imude area, Ojo Local Government, Lagos.
