Police nab two robbers recover charms in Lagos

The operatives of Ikeja Division under the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two suspected armed robbers, while on stop-and-search duty along Allen-Opebi Road of the state.
Police, in a remark on its X (formally Twitter) handle, on Friday, confirmed that the suspects had one locally made pistol, one life cartridge and charms, in their possession.
The release reads, “Two suspected armed robbers were arrested by Officers of Ikeja Division while on Stop and Search along Allen-Opebi Road on August 6, 2024 at about 0115HRS.
“In their possession was one locally made pistol, one life cartridge and charms.”
However, the police in the remark noted that further investigation is ongoing about the suspects.
On Wednesday, July 30, Dailyeconomy reported that the Lagos patrol team from the Ilemba Hausa Division apprehended two armed robbers and recovered a firearm in the Imude area, Ojo Local Government, Lagos.
