Police nab woman for allegedly stealing two-month-old Baby in Delta

A 49-year-old woman, Joy Temitope, has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for allegedly abducting a two-month-old baby in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area.
The arrest was confirmed by the Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe.
Edafe stated that Temitope allegedly lured a 20-year-old mother under false pretenses, drugged her, and escaped with the infant.
Acting on credible intelligence, police operatives launched a manhunt and successfully tracked down the suspect.
He wrote, “The Suspect Mrs Joy Temitope Aged 49yrs lured and deceived a 20-year-old girl who had a two-month-old baby. She drugged the girl and stole her baby somewhere in Koko, Delta State.
“Acting on intelligence-driven policing, the suspect was arrested three months later and the baby boy who is now five months old rescued and reunited with his mother.”
