Police protect protesters, maintain traffic flowing in Lagos

The Police Force has deployed officers ahead of an anti-government protest in Lagos, with the state Commissioner of Police Olanrewaju Ishola overseeing operations.

Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Benjamin Hundeyin assured that officers are on the ground to ensure both the safety of protesters and the unimpeded flow of traffic.

This was disclosed in a video shared by Hundeyin through his X (formally Twitter) handle on Tuesday.

The post caption reads, “Maximum protection for protesters, unimpeded flow of traffic.

“CP Olanrewaju Ishola fully on ground to monitor deployment of officers and operational resources.”
