Police reacts to shooting of TikToker, Salo

Nigerian TikToker, Afeez Ojesanmi, known as Oloba Salo, was shot in the leg during a robbery in Lekki, Lagos.
The incident occurred at a filling station where assailants stole his gold chain before fleeing.
Salo is currently hospitalised in critical condition at Evercare Hospital with friends and fellow influencers expressing concern for his health.
Reacting to the incident, the spokesperson of Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Oloba Salo is receiving medical attention.
The Spokesman appreciated the doctors at Evercare Hospital for promptly treating Oloba Salo and notifying the police.
He wrote, “Special appreciation/commendation to Evercare Hospital, Lekki for promptly accepting/commencing medical treatment of gunshot victim, Ojesanmi Afeez aka Oloba Salo, and equally promptly notifying the Police.
“This is the way to go in line with the Compulsory Treatment and Care of Victims of Gunshots Act.
“Stop rejecting gunshot victims. Thank you, doctors! Thank you.”
Oloba Salo is also known as Ogba president of TikTok, known for his unique blend of Yoruba and English and energetic live videos.
