The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that eight of the twelve persons kidnapped on Friday, 26th September 2025, along the Okene-Auchi road have been successfully rescued.
This was confirmed in a statement on Sunday by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin.
Wring about the operation on X, CSP Hundeyin stated, “Of the twelve persons kidnapped on Friday, 26th September 2025 along Okene-Auchi Road, eight have been rescued by the police in conjunction with the military.”
Authorities are continuing their efforts to ensure the safety of the four remaining victims.
“Concerted efforts are in top gear to ensure the safe rescue of the remaining four victims,” CSP Hundeyin added.
