The Police Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has sought collective collaboration between Nigerians and the police for the betterment of the country’s safety.
Adejobi in a post shared on his verified X (formally Twitter) on Thursday emphasised that there are no strangers or foreigners in the police and that the police force belongs to every Nigerian.
He said, “The personnel of the Nigeria Police Force are Nigerians.
No strangers or foreigners in the police. So, we are your brothers, sisters, uncles, nieces, nephews, wives, husbands, relations, and part of society. The police force belongs to all of us, and we deserve the best in this country. Let’s collectively work together to have the police force we all desire and deserve. It’s achievable. Thanks.”
Dailyeconomy on Wednesday reported that the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright claimed that the Nigeria Police will not accept or detain any suspect that has suffered from jungle justice from those who took the laws into their hands.
