Policemen involved in Bayelsa N3m extortion arrested

Police officers involved in the case of extortion of N3m from one Comrade Liberty Kelechi in Bayelsa State on his way to Imo State with two of his friends have been arrested.

This was unveiled in X post on Thursday shared by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

He wrote: “The policemen involved in this case of extortion of 3m have been arrested. The men are attached to zone 16 command in Yenagoa. The command has been asked to produce the men at the FHQ.

“The FHQ will continue to sanitise the system and ensure justice is done in all cases brought to its notice.”
