Portable accuses Davido of shunning his verse

The controversial Nigerian singer, Habib Badmus, well known as Portable, has called out Davido for not fulfilling his promise in the verse he his new song.
Portable’s accusation followed a fallout between the two that occurred in June 2024, after Portable claimed Davido gave him poor advice during a dinner in Atlanta.
In an Instagram post, Portable expressed frustration over Davido’s refusal.
While sharing the new music on Instagram, he noted that the song was meant to feature a verse from Davido, but it didn’t happen.
He wrote, “Na who helps you be your helper, who promise you fit change mind. As @davido no gree give me verse on this song, I don kuku drop myself. Star. Don’t beg to shine. Who go help you no go stress you.”
Dailyeconomy on July 5 reported that Afrobeat star, Ahmed Akinbiyi popularly known as Bella Shmurda disclosed his fears about working with Portable, noting that he is not ready for the ‘wahala’ (problem) that comes with working with Portable.
