Portable discloses why he used Instagram with feminine name

The controversial Nigerian singer, Habib Badmus alias Portable has revealed the story behind his bizarre Instagram name “Elizabeth Joyce”.

In an interview with content creator Egungun of Lagos, Portable disclosed that the name is linked to his past before he gained fame in the music industry, noting that he created his first Instagram account with the name “Elizabeth Joyce” when he was involved in Internet fraud, well called “Yahoo”.

According to him, at the time, he used a white woman’s photo as his display picture.

He thereby revealed that he removed the photo after gaining fame, but chose to keep “Elizabeth Joyce” as his Instagram handle.
