The operatives of the Nigeria Police have been stationed outside the Afe Babalola Chambers in the Magodo area of Lagos to maintain security.
This was gathered in a video sighted by our correspondent on Tuesday.
The officers have been said to have been present to prevent any disruption, amid a planned protest in response to the prosecution of human rights activist and lawyer, Dele Farotimi.
The chambers are one of the locations designated for the start of a protest organised by the ‘Take it Back Movement,’ a group led by human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore.
Dailyeconomy on Tuesday, reported that Farotimi was detained by the Ekiti State police for alleged defamation and cyberbullying.
Farotimi was accused of disseminating false information about Babalola.
