Protest: Simi backs #EndBadGovernance protests

Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola Ogunleye, well known as Simi, has expressed support for the ongoing nationwide protest.
For days now, many Nigerians have taken to the streets to protest against hunger and poor governance across the country.
The 10 days of nationwide protests which was tagged #EndBadGovernance, started on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Amid the ongoing clashes between celebrities and netizens who challenge their commitment to advocating for social change, Simi expressed her solidarity with the protesters.
In a post shared on X (formally Twitter), she stated she will always stand with people.
She wrote, “I will always stand with my people #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria.”
