PTAD disburses N5.12bn arrears to 90,689 DBS pensioners

In keeping with its assurance to clear outstanding pension liabilities as funds are disbursed by the Federal Government, the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has finalized the disbursement of N5.12bn to 90,689 pensioners across the four pension departments, reaffirming its continued dedication and unwavering commitment to pensioners welfare.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communications Unit, Olugbenga Ajayi, obtained by Dailyeconomy today.
The breakdown of the payment across four departments consisting of CIPPD, PPD, CSPD, and PAPD are: CIPPD (₦276.032m for 8,626 pensioners in one month), PPD (₦619.584m for 9,681 pensioners in two months), CSPD (₦408.736m for 12,77 pensioners in one month), and PAPD (₦3.814bn for 59,609 pensioners in two months).
“This payment reaffirms the administration’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that pensioners receive their due entitlements in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” it stated.
