Nollywood star Regina Daniels has vehemently denied viral claims labeling her a drug addict, calling the past few months her toughest yet and vowing to reclaim her narrative through accountability and growth.

In an Instagram post, the actress opened up about the emotional toll of online scrutiny. She described undergoing a drug test voluntarily to prove her integrity, saying she owed it to her family, friends, and fans.

“One thing that echoed loudly across the media was ‘Regina is a drug addict,’” Daniels wrote, explaining how the accusation prompted deep self-reflection.

She added, “Public noise does not always reflect the truth,” dismissing many claims as projections and misinformation.

Daniels emphasised the power of defining one’s own story over letting public opinion dictate it.

She credited her strength to unwavering support from loved ones and faith, declaring her new focus on “self-discovery, personal growth, intentional living, and peace of mind.”
