Real Madrid is internally weighing the possibility of bringing back club legend Toni Kroos for a role in its management or hierarchy, according to a report from Diario AS.

No formal proposal has been made to the 34-year-old German midfielder at this stage, but the idea is gaining traction within the club’s leadership.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the discussions, citing Diario AS as the source.

Kroos retired from professional football in 2024 after a stellar career that included five Champions League titles and four La Liga trophies with Real Madrid.

He has since stayed based in Madrid, dipping into advisory and business ventures in the sport.

The move fits into Real Madrid’s strategy to reintegrate former stars into the Valdebebas sporting structure, bolstering long-term operations and youth development.
