Former US President Barack Obama has unveiled his anticipated annual playlist, featuring his top picks for 2024.

According to the playlists shared on Obama’s verified X (formally Twitter) account on Saturday, the list boasts a diverse lineup of artists and genres, with Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor well well-known as Rema and Asake born Ahmed Ololade making a notable appearance.

Rema’s hit single “Yayo” earned a spot on the playlist, solidifying his global appeal and the growing influence of Afrobeats.

While Asake’s collaboration with American rapper Travis Scott, “Active,” also made the exclusive list.
