The Al-Nassr football club attacker, Cristiano Ronaldo has disclosed that he plans to retire from professional football within the next two or three years probably at his current club, Al-Nassr, in Saudi Arabia.
The 39-year-old Portuguese superstar joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 after a controversial exit from Manchester United.
Despite his advancing age, Ronaldo remains a key player for both his club and country, having recently represented Portugal at Euro 2024.
In a recent interview with NOW, Ronaldo expressed his happiness playing for the club (Al-Nassr) stressing that he feels good being in Saudi Arabia.
He said, “I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr. I’m very happy at this club, I feel good in this country too.
“I’m happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue.”
While talking about venturing into coaching after retirement, he said, “It’s very difficult to think that I will be a manager one day.
“In my mind, I’m not considering to be the head coach of any football team. I don’t even think about it.
“Probably I see my future doing things out of football.”
