Ronaldo to earn N1.98bn per day in new Al Nassr mega deal

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new contract extension with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, reportedly earning an astonishing $1.2 million (Dh4.4 million) which is approximately N1.98 billion, per day, solidifying his status as the world’s highest-paid footballer.
The deal, which may span one to two years, will keep the 40-year-old Portuguese star at the club until at least 2026.
This contract reportedly amounts to around €15 million per month, €3.8 million per week, or approximately €550,000 per day, reflecting Ronaldo’s immense market value and global appeal.
Additionally, Ronaldo is expected to receive a minority ownership stake in Al Nassr, highlighting his importance to the club’s long-term project.
Since joining Al Nassr in 2023, Ronaldo has been instrumental in raising the profile of the Saudi Pro League, scoring over 90 goals and providing numerous assists, although the club is yet to secure a league title during his tenure.
Ronaldo’s new chapter with Al Nassr was announced with his message shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.
He wrote, “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together!”
