In a remarkable season filled with dazzling performances, Mohamed Salah has been officially named the Premier League Player of the Season for the second time after inspiring Liverpool’s march to a record-equalling 20th English title.

The Egyptian forward’s consistent brilliance and crucial goals have earned him this prestigious accolade, cementing his status as one of the league’s top talents.

Salah earned the prize after scoring 28 league goals, five more than anyone else and producing 18 assists for Liverpool this season.

Salah’s exceptional skill, pace, and goal-scoring prowess were pivotal in his team’s campaign, captivating fans and pundits alike.

This award is decided after votes from the public are combined with those from a panel of football experts. He also won it in the 2017-18 campaign.

He has broken the run of Manchester City players winning the award for the past four seasons.

This award not only highlights his excellence but also underscores his vital contribution to the Premier League’s thrilling competition this season.

Some days ago, Salah was named the Football Writers Association player of the year, securing almost 90 per cent of the votes, marking the biggest winning margin this century.

As celebrations continue, Salah’s triumph serves as an inspiration to aspiring footballers across Nigeria and beyond, showcasing the heights that dedication and talent can achieve on the global stage.
