Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has disclosed how his recent goal celebration was inspired by the Nigerian-born Ultimate Fighting Championship champion, Israel Adesanya.
In a recent interview, Salah explained that after scoring against Brentford, he mimicked Adesanya’s iconic post-fight celebration, where he shot three invisible arrows into the air, symbolising his past losses to Alex Pereira.
Salah, who is believed to be a fan of the UFC, stated, “I was watching the UFC when Adesanya won the second fight against Pereira. I liked the celebration, and that’s why I did it.”
