Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has extended warm Eid Mubarak greetings to residents, reflecting on the lessons of Ramadan.

The Governor in a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter) highlighted the communal spirit fostered during the holy month.

He wrote, “After a month of reflection and prayer, today is a day to celebrate the strength we draw from our shared values and community.”

Sanwo-Olu expressed gratitude for the period of pause and compassion, urging Lagosians to sustain that energy.

“I am grateful for the opportunity we all had to pause, show compassion to our neighbours and stay grounded in what truly matters. As we return to our daily routines, let’s carry that spirit of kindness with us,” he added.

He concluded with wishes for ongoing well-being, “I wish you peace, good health and many blessings in the days ahead. Eid Mubarak.”
