Sanwo-Olu commissions J Randle Museum

Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has officially opened the museum in the J Randle Centre for Yoruba Heritage and Culture in Onikan open for public use.
The museum, which showcases historical, artistic, and cultural artifacts of the Yoruba, is a vital part of the Centre that was inaugurated last year.
According to a video on X (formally Twitter) by the Senior Special Assistant on Media to Lagos State Governor, Wale Ajetunmobi, on Monday, Sanwo-Olu appointed Qudus Onikeku as the director of the centre.
The caption reads: “Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, today, formally declares the museum in the J Randle Centre for Yoruba Heritage and Culture in Onikan open for public access.
“The museum, which exhibits historical, artistic and cultural artifacts of the Yoruba, is a key component of the Centre, which was commissioned last year.
“Also, the Governor appoints Mr. Qudus Onikeku as the Director of the J Randle Centre.”
