Sanwo-Olu receives EPL Trophy at State House

Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has received the English Premier League (EPL) trophy at Lagos House, Marina.

The silverware was brought in by Girish Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Guinness Nigeria Plc, accompanied by members of his team.

Sanwo-Olu, on his X (formally Twitter) handle, described the visit as a valuable opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on sports development, collaboration, and the role of corporate organisations in supporting youth empowerment in Lagos.

“Today, at Lagos House, Marina, I received the English Premier League Trophy, brought in by Girish Sharma, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Guinness Nigeria Plc, along with his team.

“We had a good conversation about sports, collaboration and how organisations like Guinness can help support growth, community development, and opportunities for young people in Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu had written.
