Sanwo-Olu to unveil 420 new housing units in Badagry

Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is set to unveil 420 newly completed housing units at the Lagos State Housing Estate, Ajara Phase 1, Badagry, today..

The Lagos State Government in a statement noted that the commissioning of the project will further increase the stock of model housing units and cater to the accommodation needs of over 2,000 residents.

Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, disclosed this during a media chat on Tuesday, noting that the estate comprises one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.

He explained that the initiative aligns with Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to deliver affordable and quality housing while completing all ongoing projects across the state.

Akinderu-Fatai expressed optimism about the project’s potential to boost the local economy and thanked prospective homeowners for their patience and trust. He also advised applicants to visit the Ministry’s Estate Department at Block 3, Secretariat, Alausa, for inquiries, cautioning them against dealing with unauthorised agents.
