The Delta Police Command spokesperson, Bright Edafe has kicked against domestic violence, emphasising that no one should remain in a harmful marriage.

Edafe in a stern warning via his X handle on Sunday stated, “Say No to domestic violence!!! Having a family is important, but marriage is not by force. Why stay in a violent marriage? It’s either the man dies or the woman dies.”

Highlighting the impact on children, the spokesman said, “For the kids, it’s a lose-lose situation. There’s absolutely no reason to say ‘I am in the marriage because of my kids.’ Your kids want you alive.”
