Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Ogunleye well known as Simi has cautioned her fans against idolising people due to their material wealth and possessions.

Simi in an X (formally Twitter) post emphasised that people are not God and should not be treated as infallible.

She wrote, “Don’t idolize wicked people because they have more money than you.”

However, Simi’s message underscores the importance of crucial thinking and retaining a balanced perspective when it comes to material wealth.
