Singer Obesere beats life-threatening surgery

Popular Fuji musician, Abass Akande, known as Obesere, has expressed profound gratitude after surviving a life-threatening surgery.

Obesere on Saturday, shared a photo from a hospital bed via his Instagram account, thanking God for his recovery.

In his post, he wrote, “Alhamdulillah. The Almighty Allah has been merciful to me. I escaped a surgery that almost took my life, but Allah said NO!”

Fans and fellow artists flooded the comments with well-wishes, including actor Yinka Quadri and singer KS1 Malaika, who expressed their hopes for his swift recovery.

This is coming after Dailyeconomy on Wednesday, August 28, reported that the renowned Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori, well known as TG Omori, sought prayers when he underwent a failed kidney transplant in Lagos.
