The United States Mission in Nigeria issued a stern reminder on Monday urging Nigerian students in US to comply fully with the terms of their student visas.

In a brief but clear statement, the mission cautioned that students who drop out, skip classes, or leave their program of study without notifying their educational institution risk having their student visa revoked.

Such actions could also make them ineligible for future U.S. visas.

The statement emphasises, “If you drop out, skip classes, or leave your program of study without informing your school, your student visa may be revoked, and you may lose eligibility for future U.S. visas.

“Always adhere to the terms of your visa and maintain your student status to avoid any issues.
