Soludo lauds Dunamis church over crusade

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has commended the conduct of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre during its recently organised crusade.
Soludo also pledged to refund the money paid for renting the venue used by the church for the crusade.
The Dunamis International Gospel Centre,had recently held it’s crusade at the Alex Ekwueme square, Awka, in Anambra state.
While speaking during the crusade, the Governor described Dunamis as an exemplary ministry and pledged to let them have their next crusade in the state at no cost at the Ekwueme square.
In a video shared on the X (formally Twitter) handle of the Anambra State Government, on Thursday, the Governor could be heard saying, “I commend Dunamis, for organising this in a very structured manner, I think in november the Anglicans would be having another one here. Because you have organised this in a very structured, perfect manner, you haven’t gone to block the streets or block anybody, I want to say that by the next time you come riding down this boulevard, you’ll see the light of the nation.
“This state is predominantly a christian state, and people ask why do you say that, I say when you find a place where 90 to 95% of the people professing one thing, it’s appropriate to so says. And now that you have organised this beautifully well, I was asking someone, ‘ Did they pay for this venue, and they told me you paid a few millions for this year, I said I know Dunamis has a lot of money.
“Because this has been organised in such a fantastic way, organised in the ideal form of what group evangelism should be all about,we are going to return whatever you paid, and next year we’re inviting you to come again.”
Dailyeconomy had earier reported that Soludo had banned loud street preaching, affixing a N500,000 fine to the offense.
