Speed Darlington claims gunshot attack in Lagos

Controversial musician, Darlington Okoye well known as Speed Darlington has alleged that he was the target of a gunshot attack in Lagos.

The incident reportedly occurred while he was leaving a club in Victoria Island, with his SUV sustaining significant damage.

On his Instagram, Darlington, who has been embroiled in a public feud with a colleague, shared a video of the aftermath.

The footage shows his driver holding what appears to be shell casings from fired bullets.

The singer believes that the attack was a deliberate attempt on his life, motivated by his candid nature.

He said, “I was told they shot at us. I heard gunshots. I did not know it was first at us. I just came out of a club in VI and the next thing I heard was the sound of a gunshot.

“They were local men but it was still gunshot. They are so afraid of what I would say. I have not said anything they are already fidgeting. They are already selling killers after me. It is crazy.

“Are these not police officers? They heard it too. There must be truth in what I am saying. With the way he is reacting.”
