Summit Bank, the newest entrant in the Nigerian non-interest banking space, has joined organisations across the world to celebrate the Customer Service Week (CSW) 2025, reaffirming its unflinching commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience and building a team of real people with real purpose. Throughout the week, activities were held across Summit Bank branches, in line with the 2025 theme of ‘Mission: Possible’, to appreciate customers, celebrate staff, and introduce the bank’s mobile app.

Speaking at the Abuja Head Office, Dr. Sirajo Salisu, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Summit Bank, said the CSW 2025 is special because it is the first as a new bank. “As a bank and as a team, this is our first Customer Service Week and the theme of ‘Mission: Possible’ aligns well with our mission to be the trusted partner, providing ethical banking solutions that empower individuals and communities while making a positive impact in the lives of stakeholders for a prosperous society,” adding that the ever-dedicated Summit Bank team and the growing number of Summit Bank customers deserve the honour and praise for their commitment.

As part of the activities put together to mark this year’s CSW, the bank also announced the official launch of the Summit Bank Mobile App, informing that it is now available on Android and IOS, as well as their brand-new Internet Banking platform.

Dr. Mukhtar Adam, the bank’s Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer, said Summit Bank, as a new bank, is intentional about nurturing an ethical culture that stands out and one that enables the customer to be heard, valued, and respected.

This is why, according to him, the launch of the Mobile App and Internet Banking platforms are important as they create an inclusive customer ecosystem that is driven by innovation, partnership, and integrity. “As we celebrate the Customer Service Week 2025, we say thank you to our customers for trusting us to power their banking journey,” he said.

Summit Bank was incorporated on 15th July 2024 and licensed on 5th February 2025 by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide non-interest banking services to the public, positioned to become a frontline efficient digital- and service-focused bank in Nigeria.
