Tax reform is here to stay – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed that the tax reforms initiated by his administration have come to stay.

During the ongoing first presidential media chat, the president addressed mixed reactions regarding the tax reform bills before the National Assembly, stating that the benefits of the reforms far outweigh the concerns raised.

“I am focused to ensure Nigerians get what they desire,” he said.

Dailyeconomy on November 2, reported that Tinubu has received the National Economic Council’s recommendation that the tax reform bills already sent to the National Assembly be withdrawn for further consultation.

Tinubu thereby commended the National Economic Council members, especially Vice President Kashim Shettima and the 36 State Governors, for their advice, Dailyeconomy reported.
