Tems thanks Sodimu for revitalising classic track ‘Love Me Jeje’

Grammy award winner, Temilade Openiyi, alias Tems, has expressed gratitude to renowned songwriter, Seyi Sodimu, for his support in revitalising the classic track “Love Me Jeje.” that secured her second Grammy award.

She thanked Sodimu for helping bring new life to the original song, which has been reintroduced to a wider audience.

Tems’ appreciation message was contained in a post on her X (formally Twitter) account.

Tems appreciation message comes after she won the award for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards.

She clinched the award title with her song Love Me JeJe, beating Tomorrow by Yemi Alade, MMS by Asake featuring Wizkid, Sensational by Chris Brown featuring Davido and Lojay, and Higher by Burna Boy.

The post reads, “I just want to thank the wonderful #seyimusic for his role in the support and clearing of his OG song Love me jeje. It’s brought the original song back to life for me and I’m glad that it’s getting it’s flowers today. A timeless classic.

“I appreciate you so much. Thank you for your love and support.”
